Global Contemporary Art (1990-present)

Reflecting the increasingly transnational nature of contemporary art, these holdings feature African, African diaspora, and Indigenous Australian, Native American, and American art. Such works reflect both the continuity of traditions and cultural transformation, and explore diverse concerns from the beauty of mathematical equations to the environment, to feminism and other socio-political issues.
