Winter Break Hours
The Hood Museum of Art will close for Dartmouth's winter break beginning Sunday, December 21, 2025, and will reopen Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Parking
The museum can be accessed from both Wheelock Street and Lebanon Street. Metered street parking is available on Wheelock Street, Lebanon Street, and downtown Hanover. Additionally, there is a paid parking garage located at 7 Lebanon Street. For more information on parking in Hanover, including free parking days, click here.
Vehicles parked in designated handicap parking zones or in paid public parking areas displaying a valid handicap license plate, decal, tag or card may park for free, but for no more than ten consecutive hours in the Marshall Lot and Hanover Parking Facility and for no more than three hours in all other designated handicap parking zones. In the Upper Valley, ride the Advance Transit Brown, Green, Yellow, or Orange Route to the Hanover Inn stop.
