Kristie (she/her) coordinates all registration activities for special exhibitions, including planning, shipping, installation and deinstallation, and proper care of loans. As a member of the cross-departmental collections team, she creates and maintains documentation relating to acquisitions, rights and reproductions, art movement, and conservation, with emphasis on accessibility. Kristie also manages the maintenance of public art on campus and performs art handler duties for the Bernstein Center for Object Study and collection digitization. Before joining the Hood Museum of Art as registration assistant in August 2021, she held curatorial assistantships at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, specializing in works on paper. Kristie is a member of the Hood's staff-led Accessibility Working Group; the Mentorship Program Subcommittee of the Association of Registrars and Collection Specialists; and serves on the Board of the Vermont-based Collections Care and Conservation Alliance.
