LEFT Jason Curley, Class of 2013
Native American student Jason Curley '13, a Navajo/Diné from Arizona, had one of his hand-woven rugs on view in Native American Art at Dartmouth: Highlights from the Hood Museum of Art. A Native American studies major with a digital arts minor, Curley talks in this video about learning weaving from his grandmother, his culture, and the Hood's exhibit, which also included a rug woven by his late grandmother, Helen Curley.

Native American student Kayla Gebeck '12, a Red Lake Ojibwe from Minnesota, is one of the painting subjects of artist Mateo Romero's The Dartmouth Pow-Wow Suite. A double major in linguistics and Native American studies, Gebeck talks in this video about the Hood's exhibit, traditional Anishinaabe dancing, and creating jingle dresses.
