About

A native of northern New York State, Sharon has been with the Hood for sixteen years, first as the public relations coordinator and more recently as the programs and events coordinator. She is responsible for managing all aspects of public and private programs and events at the museum, including logistics, hospitality, production, and troubleshooting. She earned a B.A. in international studies with a concentration in history from Marymount College, Tarrytown, New York, and a masters in heritage preservation, Georgia State University, Atlanta. Prior to working at the Hood, Sharon was assistant director of the Woodstock Historical Society in Vermont.
