In this domestic space, a warped reproduction of the Last Supper hangs askew in an ornate metallic frame. Look carefully to locate the small crooked crucifix camouflaged within the ivy-printed wallpaper on the left. Leonardo da Vinci painted the original Last Supper in a monastery’s refectory, a room for shared meals. By hanging this reproduction in their own dining room, what might this family be suggesting about their own values or aspirations?
