In this workshop, families will explore the language of abstraction to appreciate the myriad ways artists express ideas and create a range of effects. In the galleries, families will engage in a compositional activity using fabric, rope, and glass discs to create their own abstract compositions. In the studio, they will experiment with mono printing to create several small prints to take home. For children ages 6 to 12 with their adult companions. Enrollment is free, but limited. Please register by February 22.
