Verso: Upper left corner, in graphite and stamped in black ink, "Dell Publishing Company, Inc. Name Dee, Frances Received 1937 Used" / Upper center, in graphite, "JKFA 1340" / Upper center, stamped in blue ink, "Credit will be appreciated Paramount Photo by William Walling" / Lower center, typed in black ink on tan label, "Southern Belle - lovely Frances Dee, in the feminine lead of Paramount's new Frank Lloyd production, "Wells Fargo," a "cavalcade of early American transportation," becomes the wife of her real-life husband Joel McCrea, who heads the cast in the role of a pioneer express messenger. The picture covers a period of 26 years, from the beginning of overland stage coach routes in 1844 to the coming of coast to coast railroad express in 1870."
