Verso: Upper left corner, stamped in black ink, with graphite, "Dell Publishing Company, Inc. Name Patrick, Gail Received A[?] 1939 Used Mag Issue" / Upper center, stamped in purple ink, "Credit will be appreciated Paramount Photo by William Walling" / Upper right corner, in black pencil, "P-1477-1323" / Lower center, typed in black ink on white label, "Black silk jersey -- makes a dramatic dinner dress for the personal wardrobe of Gail Patrick, Paramount player in "Grand Jury Secrets." Designed by Edith Head, the dress stresses a sweeping, graceful line. The skirt is shirred at the base of a wide black velvet girdle. The neckline drapes up to shirred, padded shoulders and the long sleeves are tight and intentionally wrinkled toward the wrist. A triple strand of pearls makes and ideal accent."
