Collected by Dr. Albert Lincoln Washburn (1911-2007), Class of 1935, Professor of Geology (1953-1961), during his fieldwork (for his PhD dissertation at Yale University) on Victoria Island, Northwest Territories between 1938-1941;given to present collection by his wife, Barbara Tahoe Talbot Washburn (1911-2007), 1974.
