details

Join El Faro’s Roman Gressier and Omnionn for a screening and discussion of the 2025 photo concert produced by the Central American digital news outlet El Faro that examines a prolonged new kristallnacht in the United States. Nine photographers reveal how the persecution of immigrants is unfolding during the Trump era.

Gressier is a French-American journalist who works at El Faro from Guatemala City. He is Editor of El Faro English, its podcast Central America in Minutes, and spearheads its media and academic-facing initiatives. Omnionn is a Salvadoran DJ and producer, and leads the audiovisual initiatives as Production Manager for El Faro. His work has brought Salvadoran rap to the world stage and, for El Faro, he explores ways of bringing music and journalism together.
