October 9–11, 2025
The International Association for Visual Culture conference at Dartmouth will take place both at the College and online on the occasion of the Hood Museum of Art’s exhibition Visual Kinship, on view August 30–November 29, 2025. The conference is part of a larger multi-campus effort across Dartmouth College, the University of California Santa Cruz, the University of Wisconsin Madison, and the University of Minnesota Duluth. The International Association for Visual Culture is an international network of scholars, educators, artists, curators, and museum professionals dedicated to the advancement of visual culture studies in a transnational and contemporary framework. Free and open to the public.
