Explore the new exhibition Animal, Vegetable, Mineral: Making Colors in Europe, 1400–1800 through the pigments, dyes, and glazes that make up these artworks. In this workshop, teachers will investigate the crucial global trade routes and development of artistic materials that enabled scientific advancement and provided the foundation for chemistry, medicine, physics, and more.
