Hood Museum Conroy Intern Madyson Buchalski ’24 will introduce her student-curated exhibition, Sports Culture: Gender, Belonging, and Nationhood, which explores how identity is constructed and communicated through sports. The artworks come from various cultures and historical moments from the 19th through the 21st centuries and engage with topics such as cultural pride, the assertion of state power, collective nationality, and gender expectations. This program will be streamed to the Hood Museum’s Facebook page.
