Where are you from and where are you going? Artist Rina Banerjee will discuss the colonial and global movement of people and objects in her sculptures, drawings, and installations with Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow Holly Shaffer. From cowrie shells and light-bulbs to saran wrap and talons, her artworks transform these materials into new beings and forms, tracing routes of travel across the world and the imagination.
