Kali joined the Hood Museum as a Visitor Services Guide in the spring of 2025. Kali graduated from Boston University in 2022 with a M.A. in Archaeology with a focus in Heritage Management & Preservation. She mainly explores ideas of developed identity through cultural heritage within colonized societies, most notably focusing on Japan and its relationship with Korea during its period of colonization. As a secondary degree from Boston University, she obtained a B.A in Japanese Language and Literature, as well as a Museum Studies Certificate. Previously, Kali was part of the curatorial team at the Longfellow House- Washington's Headquarters National Historic Site as a seasonal Museum Technician, working closely with historical objects for preservation. She was also a part of several projects to reopen other historical sites, such as the JFK Birthplace in Brookline, MA.
