The artist; to the sitter, Piltti Heiskanen (1912-2001) and his wife Christine (1919-2006), early 1940s; collection of Christine Heiskanen, after her husband’s death in 2001; to Thomas McFarland, executor of her estate, and his wife, Diane, upon the death of Christine Heiskanen in 2006; given to present collection, 2014.
