Maffet, Darlington Agency, the Agency of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Reservation, Indian Territory (Oklahoma), 1882; in the collection of the Maffet family by descent; sold at Sotheby's, New York, 1997; sold to Morning Star Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico; [pages removed from the book, Summer 1999]; sold to Mark Lansburgh, Santa Fe, New Mexico, date unknown; acquired by present collection through a partial gift and partial purchase, 2007.
