About
Lauren Silverson joined the museum's staff in September 2019. She has over twenty-five years in the field of collections management, and most recently served as the registrar at the Portland Museum of Art in Portland, Maine, where she had worked since 2002. She has contributed to the collections management profession through her involvement with the Registrar's Committee of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and served as chair of the Ethics Committee, a task force of the Registrar's Committee, from 2002 until 2012.
