Jamie Rosenfeld joined the Education team in October 2017. As Museum Educator, she creates and teaches the ArtStart and Images programs, which include hosting elementary and middle school students on regular visits to the museum. In these programs, students are invited to first engage with works in the galleries and then to create their own art. Prior to this role, Jamie was the Coordinator of School and Educator Programs at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. She was responsible for coordinating and overseeing all guided school group tours for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade, as well as School Partnerships, and teacher professional development. Additionally, she worked in Family and Teen Programs at the Whitney. Prior to her work at the Whitney, Jamie worked as an intern at The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. In June 2017, she received her Master’s degree at Bank Street College of Education in Leadership in Museum Education. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in Italian and Art History.
