Verso: Upper left, in graphite, "Cecil Beaton" / Center, in red pencil, "Release on or after April 3" and stamped in black, "Dec 1946" / Center, typed, affixed on paper, "B 310/46: VALERIA HOBSON, as Estella, the lovely heroine of Charles Dicken's "GREAT EXPECTATIONS", photographed by Cecil Beaton in a cerise organza gown with the enormous sleeves and deep, square neckline of the period in which the film is set - the early 1830's. Her jewelry consists of an intricate seed- pearl necklace, with a matching bracelet. "GREAT EXPECTATIONS", which stars John Mills and Valeria Hobson, with Bernard Miles, Francis L. Sullivan, Finlay Currie and Martita Hunt, is produced by Ronald Neame directed by David Lean, with Anthony Havelock-Allan exclusive producer." and stamped in purple, "Periodicals(P) Library, 191, High Holborn, W.C.1. Must be returned undamaged"
