Nine wooden strips. Five of the six shorter ones are marked in French. "Sapin:" spruce. "Chene:" oak. "Noyer:" walnut. "Peuplier:" poplar. "Poirier:" pear. Other four have lendth, width, and thickness written on them. One is marked "Marloye et CIE a Paris." Each strip has two parallel lines marked across. (They possibly rested on mount that is now missing).
