In the Dominican Republic, shoeshine boys, also known as limpiabotas, clean shoes, run errands, and often act as guides in popular tourist areas. The shoeshine boxes carried by the boys serve both as a stand for customers to place their shoes on and a toolbox for their supplies. Suspended by marionette strings and crossbars, the shoeshine box springs to life as García's Dreambox, now transformed.

What does the artist invite you to think about by attaching marionette bars to the Dreambox?
