Kathleen P. O’Malley has been a member of the team at the Hood Museum of Art for 24 years. She has 30 years of experience in collections management, covering a wide range of duties, from object handling and safe transport to conservation treatment and matting and framing. Kathleen oversees the work of the registrar's office, accessions objects into the collection, manages the photography schedule for the collection, handles rights and reproductions requests, maintains artist copyright files, manages off-site storage, and maintains the museum’s archives. She often travels with exhibitions organized by the Hood. She has a B.A. in classical studies from Boston College and an M.A. in museum studies and anthropology from George Washington University.
