In 1932, Mexican artist Jose Clemente Orozco was invited to Dartmouth as an artist-in-residence to demonstrate fresco painting technique. He went on to paint an ambitious mural in the brand-new Baker Library entitled "The Epic of American Civilization." Come and explore this mural - widely considered the greatest in America - and learn techniques for interpreting and appreciating any work of art. The workshop will be discussion-based and participatory. Enrollment is limited. Call (603) 646-1469 by July 25 to register.

Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
