The Ancient World
Learning to Look
Created by the Hood Museum of Art, Learning to Look is an approach designed to help viewers look carefully and think critically about any work of art.
There are numerous books and other resources for teachers to introduce them to the ancient world. This annotated list provides links to three museum websites. Each of these sites offers extensive resources including images, lesson plans, timelines, glossaries, videos, and more about the ancient world. Exploration of these sites will yield a wealth of curricular resources.
