The Hood Museum of Art is excited to announce the ambitious expansion and renovation of its facility, beginning in 2016.
The plans include three object-study rooms, a sweeping public reception space, and a number of stunning new galleries, along with renovations to the existing Charles Moore galleries. From excavation to reinstallation, the project will likely continue through 2018, with a gala reopening in 2019 (Dartmouth’s 250th anniversary).
Along the way, you will have many exciting and new opportunities to stay connected to the Hood through programs and partnerships on campus and in the community, as well as updates here on our website!
