Picasso: The Vollard Suite, 1930-1937

Picasso's artistic process—indeed, his take on the creative act itself—is nowhere more thoroughly revealed than in this series of one hundred prints made for the art dealer Ambroise Vollard. Exhibited chronologically, these works demonstrate the artist's spontaneity and inventiveness while offering a unique glimpse of the interwoven themes that engaged his imagination in the 1930s.
