The artists featured in this exhibition are linked by their engagement with China's recent transformations: the rapid disappearance of the traditional city and the changes in relationships, lifestyles, tastes, and values. Transience is the first exhibition presented in this country to focus on contemporary experimental art from the People's Republic of China.
