Thoughful Mechanisms

Describing himself as both a mechanical engineer and a choreographer, MIT artist-in-residence Arthur Ganson creates sculpture that dances, tumbles, flutters, and breathes. An internationally acclaimed artist, Ganson incorporates his direct observation of human beings and nature into the creation of machines that evoke wonder, laughter, and reflection.
