"PHOTOGRAPHY AND LIFE: THE REAL AND IMAGINED"
A lunchtime gallery talk given by Subhankar Banerjee, photographer and artist-in residence at the Studio Art Department at Dartmouth College, on February 3, 2009. Subhankar Banerjee is a well-known photographer of landscapes and people in the northern regions of Alaska. As an artist and a sought-after public speaker, Banerjee has fought to stop drilling and the dumping of toxic waste in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and other remote regions near the Arctic circle.
