Driving
Directions to the
Hood Museum of Art
From Interstate 89
Take Exit 18 off Interstate 89. Turn north onto Route
120 and follow it approximately 4.3 miles. You will
see a Mobil
Gas
Station and
the Hanover Co-op on your right. Follow Route 120 as
it bears right just after the Mobil Gas Station. Route
120
becomes
South Park
Street. At the next light, turn east (left) on Wheelock.
After approximately
two blocks the town green will appear on your right,
and on your left will be Wilson Hall (red stone with
a turret),
the
Hood
Museum of Art (which is set back from the street),
the Hopkins Center
for the Arts, and then the Hanover Inn.
From Interstate 91
Take Exit 13 off Interstate 91. Turn east onto Route
10A, which will take you across the Connecticut River
and up
a long hill.
When you
reach the top of the hill you will come to a traffic
light. Go straight through this intersection; the town
green will
be on
your left, and
on your right will be the Hanover Inn, the Hopkins
Center for the Arts, Wilson Hall (red stone with a
turret),
and the Hood
Museum
of Art (which is set back from the street).
