Tours

ALL TOURS OF THE MUSEUM ARE NOW FREE!

Guided tours of the museum's collection, special exhibitions, and the Orozco frescoes located in Baker-Berry Library are available.

Tours for College Groups

Tours for School Groups

The Hood Museum of Art offers regional school children the opportunity to learn from great works of art. During school group visits, students are encouraged to make connections between classroom learning and the museum's collection, to exercise their creative and analytical thinking skills, and to develop respect for the accomplishments of cultures from around the world.

Tours for Community Groups

Group tours led by museum docents are available by appointment for any group of five or more. To schedule a tour, email hood.museum.tours@dartmouth.edu or call the Education Department at (603) 646-1469.

Introductory Tours and Hood Highlight Tours, offered on selected Saturday afternoons, are designed to introduce visitors to special exhibitions or aspects of the collection. See the Calendar of Events for current listings of introductory and Hood Highlights tours taking place at the Hood.
