The Hood Museum of Art offers your students the chance to experience the arts and cultures of many historical periods and regions of the world. Museum staff members develop tours with the goals of introducing your students to a museum experience and actively engaging them with original works of art to improve their visual literacy.
In addition to exhibition-related tours, areas of the museum's collection that will be on view in 2010-11 include ancient Assyrian, Greek, Roman, and Chinese art, as well as Egyptian, Native American, American, and European art.
