Teacher Resources

Félix de la Concha: Private Portraits/Public Conversations

These resources are designed to help teachers integrate learning at the museum and through the visual arts into the classroom curriculum.

Learn More

This link will connect you to the Félix de la Concha exhibition materials provided on our Web site. You will be able to read more about the exhibition as well as listen to and view audio and video clips of excerpts from selected painting sessions. Sharing these resources with your students can provide an excellent introduction to the exhibition or an opportunity for continued conversation following your museum visit. Due to the theme of conflict and reconciliation that is integral to the exhibition, we are recommending this show for students in eighth grade and above.

Please visit the Hood Museum of Art to see a wide range of original works of art from around the world. There is no charge for admission and the museum is open every day of the week except Monday. Free tours for K-12 school groups as well as programs for adults, teens, and families are available. Visit the museum's web site to learn more.
