Through the generosity of alumni and other friends of the museum, the Hood Museum of Art has been able to add significant works to the collection every year through purchase with endowment funds and by gift. On this page the museum will periodically post a selection of recent acquisition purchases made by the curators of the museum. These acquisitions reflect diverse culture areas and media, a hallmark of the museum's rich and varied collections.
