The collection of European sculpture and decorative arts contains a wide range of media, spanning from the fifteenth through the early twentieth centuries. A number of major movements and traditions in European art are represented, from the Renaissance to early modernism. One especially strong concentration is French nineteenth-century sculpture, especially works by Carrier-Belleuse, Carpeaux, and Rodin.
