Photographs

A relatively small collection, the Hood's American photographs represent a broad overview of the development of the medium, from an 1850 daguerreotype of Daniel Webster by Southworth and Hawes to depression-era images by Walker Evans, Margaret Bourke-White, and Michael Disfarmer.
