Travel across the Australian continent to explore contemporary Indigenous art and the fascinating stories these works of art tell. In the galleries, write and draw in a special family guide you can take home, and use hands-on activities to experiment with color and composition. Art-making projects in the studio will include paste paper painting, collage, and soft clay sculpture.
2:00 PM Storytelling Performance: Renowned storyteller Odds Bodkin will perform tales related to Aboriginal Australian culture.
This family day is free and open to everyone. Activities are designed for ages 6-12 with adult companions.
