"The Djan'kawu Sisters at Yalangbara: Material Expressions of Ancestral Agency"

This lecture will introduce people to Yalangbara, a sacred landscape on the coast of Eastern Arnhem Land in Northern Australia, and to the ways in which digital technology has enabled its people to bring images from the past (films, photographs, archival documents, and photographs of material culture collections) back to life in their own communities.
